The Data Engineering team builds the modern, reliable and scalable data platform that underpins Aqemia’s scientific and engineering work.
Responsibilities
- Design and build a modern, reliable and scalable data platform for Aqemia’s engineering and scientific teams.
- Build, maintain and optimize robust data pipelines and assets supporting drug-discovery workflows.
- Guide and support engineering teams in structuring their data pipelines, ensuring best practices in data modeling, architecture and governance.
- Ensure data integrity, quality and availability across scientific and platform teams.
- Collaborate closely with scientists, software engineers and computational chemists.
Profile
- Strong experience as a data engineer building production-grade data platforms and pipelines.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals and proficiency with modern data tooling and cloud infrastructure.
- Expertise in data modeling, architecture and governance best practices.
- Ability to partner with both engineering and scientific teams in a fast-moving R&D environment.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid setup based in Paris; English working proficiency.
