Post-Production Editor

Job Details.

We seek an aspiring Junior Video Editor and sound Designer to join this project. The ideal candidate will work on editing film footage, adding music, video elements, and special effects to enhance film projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Film Editing: Assist in the cutting and sequencing of raw footage per the project’s goals.
  2. Music & Sound Mixing: Add and mix music, dialogue, and sound effects using editing and good software.
  3. Visual Effects: Assist in adding simple special effects or visual enhancements.
  4. Colour Balancing: Help adjust colour and lighting for visual consistency.
  5. File Management: Properly organize and archive project assets.
  6. Quality Assurance: Review cuts for errors or quality issues.
  7. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other team members to meet project milestones.

Expérience :

  • Entry-level to 2 years of experience in video editing or post-production.
  • Basic understanding of audio mixing and sound design.

Éducation

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies, Media Production, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Self-taught experts accepted
