Head of Technology Operations

To strengthen our ability to efficiently deliver technical projects in a fast-growing environment, we are seeking a Head of Technology Operations.

This role is key to supporting our CTO in planning, coordinating, and executing strategic technical projects in close collaboration with product and development teams.

As Head of Technology Operations, you will sit at the core of Faume’s tech organization. You will ensure smooth roadmap execution, optimize resource allocation, and facilitate communication between teams. You will also provide visibility into project progress and contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery practices.

Main responsibilities

  • Lead technical projects in collaboration with Product and Tech teams, from prioritization to production release.
  • Monitor timelines, anticipate risks, and ensure on-time, high-quality project delivery.
  • Optimize delivery processes through team routines, project reporting, and shared documentation.
  • Act as a facilitator: unblock issues, streamline communication, and ease tensions.
  • Occasionally contribute to technical topics (spec reviews, quality control, stack decisions).
  • Manage resource allocation based on business priorities, technical dependencies, and actual team capacity.
  • Support the CTO in strategic roadmap planning and key decision-making.
  • Identify organizational, technical, and human risks and propose well-documented mitigation strategies.

Profile

  • Engineering degree or equivalent, or strong experience in managing technical projects.
  • 4–8 years of experience in a similar role (Technical Program Manager, Engineering Ops, Project Manager), ideally in a tech startup or scale-up.
  • Strong understanding of product and technical environments (SaaS, APIs, web architecture).
  • Excellent ability to structure, coordinate, and manage priorities in dynamic contexts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to align stakeholders and set a clear framework while maintaining an open mindset.
  • Results-driven with a focus on project progress and completion.

Interview process

  • Discovery call: Virtual meeting with Jocelyn, our CTO & co-founder, to discuss your motivations and expectations.
  • In-person interview: Discussion on your skills and product vision.
  • Team meeting: Conversation with members of our tech and product teams.
  • Executive meeting: Discussion with members of the executive committee to finalise the selection process.

Compensation and benefits

  • Annual gross salary: approximately €80,000, depending on profile and experience.
  • BSPCE options may be discussed based on seniority level.
  • Benefits: Alan health insurance, Swile meal vouchers, and a flexible hybrid work policy (2 days remote per week).
