Your role’s mission
Solution Delivery & Technical Excellence
Own the end-to-end technical delivery of Pelico’s platform for enterprise customers, from technical discovery to production go-live. Design and validate data architectures, SQL mappings and integration flows while ensuring high standards of performance, reliability, scalability and security. Act as the highest-level technical escalation point during deliveries and remain hands-on when required (SQL, Python, Docker, cloud environments).
Customer-Centric Technical Leadership
Serve as a trusted technical partner for customers, leading technical discovery workshops with IT and data teams and translating business needs into clear, scalable technical solutions. Participate in key customer meetings and onsite visits (1–2 per month) and support Sales and Pre-Sales on complex technical feasibility discussions.
Team Leadership & Scaling
Build, manage and mentor a team of 3–4 Solution Engineers, ensuring consistent delivery quality and strong technical standards, supporting onboarding and skill development, and fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for
- 8+ years of professional experience in software, data, or solution engineering roles.
- Strong technical background (software engineering, data engineering, or similar).
- Proven experience leading a team (minimum 2–3 people).
- Experience working with enterprise customers in complex environments.
- Strong SQL (data modeling, mappings, transformations) and Python (scripting, automation, data processing).
- Docker & containerized environments; cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Data pipelines / ETL / ELT; CI/CD and DevOps fundamentals.
