The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Functional Lead will act as the operational and technical expert responsible for overseeing our pharmaceutical client’s strategic development and day-to-day management of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). The role is crucial in supporting the business and brands in executing effective marketing programs and customer journeys.
- Operational Excellence: Served as the key functional lead for all SFMC initiatives, ensuring programs are executed timely and efficiently.
- Strategic Alignment: Work closely with business units and brand teams to develop and implement SFMC campaigns that align with strategic objectives.
- Technical Implementation: Led the setup, configuration, and deployment of SFMC programs, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Compliance and Data Management: Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all programs adhere to industry regulations and data protection laws.
- Brand Support: Provide day-to-day operational support to brand teams, facilitating the successful execution of marketing initiatives.
- Training and Enablement: Train and enable internal teams to utilize SFMC effectively.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze campaign performance to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, data analytics, and technology, to enhance SFMC capabilities.
- Vendor Liaison: Act as the point of contact for Salesforce representatives and third-party vendors to ensure the smooth functioning of the platform.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Mandatory: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in digital marketing with a focus on operational roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- English is a must. Any other languages are a plus.
- Pharma experience is a plus
- Agency experience prefered
