Senior Product Designer

About Ecair. Ecair is a French fintech that finances the energy transition through the contractors who carry out renovation and solar work. Its platform turns a quote into a tailored financing plan, where subsidies are deducted and advanced by Ecair and the remaining cost is repaid in monthly instalments linked to the project’s energy savings. Founded in 2023, the team of around 25 people works from Paris and plans to expand beyond France.

Missions

  • Report directly to a co-founder and own the design system, making sure it is applied across all Ecair products.
  • Keep design coherent across the product range and maintain the design system as it grows.
  • Make financing a sales argument, so contractors can offer it to their clients in minutes without financial expertise and within regulatory limits.
  • Speed up file processing on the underwriting side, where in-house AI agents run checks and must work alongside contractors and operations staff on a single interface.
  • Spend regular time with users, including sales representatives, operations teams and client administrative teams, beyond discovery phases.
  • Shape user flows with product managers and product engineers, from problem framing to final interface.
  • Prototype quickly to test ideas before specifying them, and check after release that features are used as intended.

Profile

  • At least six years in product design, including B2B work on complex workflows such as fintech, business tools or workflow software.
  • You have led the design of a full product or major parts of one.
  • You enjoy talking to users and can explain how a conversation changed what you were building.
  • You monitor what happens after launch to confirm or refute product assumptions.
  • You work as an AI-augmented designer: fast prototyping, synthesising feedback and sometimes shipping small changes independently.
  • Comfortable with a hybrid set-up based at the Paris office.
